![]() Opera was initially launched as a research project in 1994 by Telenor the largest telecommunications company in Norway who in 1995 set-up a separate company dedicated to developing Opera and working towards the first public release which came in 1996 with version 2.0, which was only compatible with Windows at this stage. Along with easy-to-use customization tools Opera also offers voiced controlled browsing for disabled users. Opera includes tabbed browsing, pop-up blocking, integrated search engine, an e-mail client and a speed dial giving you quick access to your favorite sites. Opera is a cross-platform, fully featured web browser renowned for its speed, elegant user-interface and versatility. It really really helps people if humans start doing this instead of "oh, figured it out, thanks! And also, btw to those "why did you reply to a 4-month-old post", this is for the future people with the same problem and question coming to this post seeing it has been archived without any answers. So, I suggest keeping Zapya (if you want) but end task the Zapya Service program when you see it running. You don't even have the Zapya app open, there is no use of that program. ![]() The name says "hotspot" and hotspot isn't turned on unless you're hosting a group in Zapya. I searched and that's the only instinct of Zapya running, no other programs associated with Zapya are running. It might be, it's Chinese, what'd you know? There is no point in that app running in the background using that much CPU for no reason. ![]() Xender is an alternative, but again, as I said, 99% of people in my country use Zapya ( literally even on Wikipedia lmao), so I have no other option.Īnd yes, just like you said, most antiviruses don't see it as a virus but some see it as a "very dangerous malware". Anyways, Zapya is pretty useful (very useful actually) for me and it does a really good job in file transferring. The Chinese company (DewMobile) seems to be pretty legit with contracts and stuff, but as you know, it's from China. 99% of all smartphones in my country use Zapya and will make fun of you when you don't have Zapya on your phone. I've been using Zapya on my phones (and tablets) for around 6 years because of its convenience. I thought I had a fake Zapya app, so I reinstalled windows (don't ask me why I decided to do that) and redownloaded Zapya from the official website ( ). But I noticed "ZapyaService, for zapya hotspot" by "Dewmobile USA, Inc." still runs on startup no matter what, and uses an extreme amount of CPU usage. I turned off Zapya on startup (more precisely, "Zapya Adaptor for QR code file sharing" by "DewMobile". Hello there, I'm also having the same problem.
